National Standards for Grade Levels 9-12
Physical and Chemical Properties includes the chemicals required for six experiments in which students examine physical properties: density and specific gravity of solids and liquids, melting points of solids, boiling points of liquids, and colligative properties of mixtures as well as chemical properties: percent composition of compounds and properties of transition elements. Experiments for the complete lab are done on a micro scale. Includes worksheets and two lab quizzes. Allow two three hour lab periods Designed for 24 students working in groups of four. Kit contains lead shot.
