A great way to teach the principles of acid base titration to students with a limited laboratory background. Students explore titration using both Phenolphthalein and Universal Indicator. Dropper bottles eliminate the need for expensive titration equipment and prepared reagents alleviate extensive lab preparation. Ideal for leading into discussions about titrations, acids, bases, pH, buffers, or environmental or physiological buffering systems to support science topics ranging from Biology

to Environmental Sciences to Physiology. Kit includes instructor’s manual with background information, chemical reagents, assessment materials, and answer key. Allow 45 minutes to complete both experiments. Designed for 24 students working in groups of four.
