National Standards for Grades 7-10
Teach simple DC circuitry using actual components for relatability to real world applications. Includes five experiments in which students learn to build series and parallel circuits on solder-less breadboards, read circuit schematics, and investigate grounding, LEDs, and resistors. Instructor’s manual is comprehensive from seven day lesson plan through assessment. Differentiated middle and high school assignments are provided. Both the single (15-225) and class kit (15-224) versions include one digital multimeter for demonstrating how to measure voltage, current, and resistance for data collection. Class kit is designed for 24 students working in groups of four.
