Lyophilized antisera allow prolonged, stable storage and shelf life. Each set of Kemtec antisera reconstitutes to 5 ml Anti-A serum and 5 ml Anti-B serum with the addition of sterile or distilled water. Sera are tested for HbsAg (Hepatitis B Virus) and HTLV-III (AIDS), however, standard laboratory practices should be used when handling, with all biological products treated as if capable of transmitting disease. Refrigerate after reconstituting with sterile water to extend shelf life. May be used along with 3-302L as an antisera refill for Kemtec Blood Typing Kit 3-204L.
